Costumes will come home on Wednesday afternoon and should be worn to school on Thursday morning so we will be ready for our production at 8:45 sharp. Students should all bring a uniform change of clothes for the rest of the day.
We are all looking forward to our field trip to the Jarrell Plantation on Friday, November 22. We will leave FPD at 9:00 and return after lunch for an afternoon of Thanksgiving fun! Students (and chaperones) should wear comfortable walking shoes that will be appropriate for a rugged trail. Thanks to drivers for accompanying us on this great, educational field trip. Please remember to send in an apple by Friday for the homemade applesauce.
Friday, November 22 is a dress down day. Everyone bring $1 (or more!) to benefit Casa Hogar Orphanage in Acapulco, Mexico. Money will be used to purchase new mattresses for the children.
REMINDER: WE ARE COLLECTING CANNED GOODS THROUGH FRIDAY TO SUPPORT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROJECT!

MULTIPLICATON TIMED TESTS WILL BEGIN ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3.
A
note from Mrs. Krejci about costumes for the Christmas program on Thursday, December 12...
The theme of this year’s Christmas Program is
“Christmas at the Cabin.” The children are celebrating at a cabin in the
snowy mountains on Christmas Eve. They are eagerly awaiting the joy of
Christmas Morning! Each child in 1st-5th grade will
wear pajamas as their costume. These do not need to be
Christmas-themed or anything new. A simple outfit of
sweatpants/athletic pants and an FPD t-shirt would be just fine.
Christmas PJs are fine, as are prints, colors, and pictures. If girls
want to wear nightgowns, I recommend wearing leggings underneath, as the
student will be wearing this outfit to school all day on Thurs Dec. 12th.
All pajamas must follow school dress code policies (i.e. no spaghetti straps or
flip flops). Everyday school shoes are fine. Slippers that
stay on the foot or slipper socks with the grips are also fine. Students
may not be in just thin socks or barefoot. Remember that it does get hot
on stage, so keep that in mind when selecting pajamas to wear.
Any questions on the pajamas can be directed to Mrs. Krejci.

Please encourage your children to continue earning money for our “Jesus box”. Remember the money collected by each class will be used to buy gifts for needy children and teenagers.
We hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving break! We are thankful for you and your children!
