We need your help for Field Day!!! Volunteer Sign-up Forms are in signed paper folders again this week. Please check your calendar and see if you can participate in this super fun day!
Please encourage your 3rd
grader to finish strong by completing all homework assignments and returning
them to school the next day. There is
still much academic work to be done.
Let’s keep at it until May 29!
This is an important time in the school year as we prepare your child
for transition to fourth grade. Thank you for your continued support in this
area.

4th quarter AR goal is a minimum of 5 points by May 21. At least 2 books must be chapter books.

We have covered several different methods of
multiplying. The students have enjoyed
seeing how “partial products” work and even how easy “lattice” really is. Have your student show you how these
processes make it easier for them! Why
don’t you show them the old-fashioned way at home?!!!
We are excited to read EXODUS
– Moses’ Story from the Bible. Some parts are difficult to understand but
it really goes along with our Egyptian unit.
We talk about the promises of God and how he used Moses just as he is
using His people today.
Be sure to check out our names in hieroglyphs if you are on the 3rd grade hall!
Invention Convention will
begin IN CLASS in May. You may be asked to send in a few recyclable supplies
and to answer a few “brainstorming” questions together at home. The rest of the
project will be completed at school in cooperative groups.
