Field Trip News
Be sure to send in your Capitol field trip forms if you are able to accompany us to Atlanta on Thursday, February 25. Closer to the trip we will send home the Varsity menu for you to look over with your student. Only those students whose parents are not attending will need to send in lunch money.

We look forward to seeing you this Friday, February 5 at 8:15 in your child's classroom to celebrate their work as authors and illustrators.

Just a friendly reminder that 3rd grade will be leading chapel next Tuesday, February 9. Please join us at 12:05 in the Fine Arts Auditorium if you can!

VALENTINE’S DAY!!!

Remember students should bring one valentine for each child in their homeroom class. Send these in beginning on Monday, February 8. Our Valentine party will be on Friday, February 12 in our classrooms.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON MEDICINE FROM OFFICE!

As stated in FPD’s Elementary Handbook (posted on the website), all medication must be administered by school office personnel or the teacher.  The child or parent should deliver the medication, labeled with name, to the office along with a signed note from the parent or guardian and a copy of the prescription or physician’s directions stating what the medication is for, how often it is to be taken, and the length of time to be taken.  Any special handling such as refrigeration, dilution, etc, must be place in writing.  IF you send an email please send to your child’s teacher, Carrie Rogers (carrie.rogers@fpdmacon.org) AND Betsy Peake (betsy.peake@fpdmacon.org) with dosage instructions.  The office must have written instructions.
