This Friday, April 20, is a Dress Down Day for "Sharing Hearts", a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of ministries in Honduras. Mission work includes the Hogar de Amor Orphanage, the Emile de Cuire School for children with special needs, the Grandmother’s Widow Village that cares for children and widowed mothers, the indigenous Tolupan Indians, the Helping Honduras Kids nonprofit school, and multiple families who live out in the jungles. Students may wear jeans and a spirit top with a $1 donation to this worthy cause. 
4th quarter AR goal: Each student must read at least 2 chapter books at their reading level and earn at least 8 points by May 15. See link at right for more details.
MULTIPLICATION CHALLENGE ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS!
Unit 7 Math Assessment will be on Tuesday, April 24. 
Students should be able to:
✔️estimate volume of 1 liter 
✔️solve number stories involving volume and mass
✔️compare fractions with  <, >, and = signs
✔️partition number lines into fractional parts and label
✔️compare fractions using number lines
✔️solve fraction number stories

 Egypt projects are due on Thursday, 
May 3.
