 *Giving their best effort

 *Completing homework assignments neatly and correctly

 * Practicing multiplication facts daily

 *Checking spelling and punctuation when writing sentences

Our 3rd quarter AR goal is set! (See note in today's papers and linked at the right.) Each student should pass at least 6 AR tests by March 15. This should include one biography and one chapter book which must be 

pre-approved by your student's teacher. 

Don't forget to send in items for Backpack Ministries. 3rd grade items are pop tarts, cereal bars, and oatmeal or grits packets.

MULTIPLICATION TIMED TEST EVERY TUESDAY!

1^st – 5^th graders: It’s time for our MATH-A-THON for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Flyers were sent home in signed papers this week. Please detach and return the Parent/Guardian Permission Slip by Tuesday, January 19^th if your child will participate in this educational opportunity for a GREAT cause.  Thank you!
