Lights, Camera, ACTION!

Please work with your child each night on their parts for the play.  They should have all parts memorized by Fri., Nov. 14th.
This is a great time to work on fluency and expression.  The message the children share with family and friends on Nov. 20th will help us all count our blessings and get into the Thanksgiving spirit.

Your child should bring their costume to school on Monday, Nov. 17th.  We will have several dress rehearsals early in the week for other elementary classes.  If you have a conflict for Thursday's performance, you can contact your child's third grade teacher for the dress rehearsal times and join us for one of those.

Your child will bring their costume home on Wednesday afternoon.  They should come to school wearing their costume Thursday morning (Nov. 20) and bring a uniform in their backpack to change into after the play.

Field Trip News
We are looking forward to our field trip to the Jarrell Plantation on Friday, November 21. There will be information in this week's signed papers to volunteer to drive. Check your calendar and see if you are available.
We will start the day cutting up apples for a delicious crock pot applesauce. If you are a driver, we would love your help at 8:00 to get this ready before we leave. In the afternoon when we return, we will eat our applesauce and make fun Oreo turkey cookies to enjoy while watching Charlotte's Web.
Timed multiplication tests will begin next week on Tuesday. Ten minutes of daily practice is crucial for success in memorizing these facts. Look for info in signed papers.
